Chelsea are still keen to sign Ghana international despite their initial offer being rejected. They have signed Jamie Gittens, Liam Delap and Joao Pedro this summer. But, the Blues are unwilling to stop here and instead want another attacker.
Chelsea started the summer window by signing Liam Delap. Now, they are said to have signed Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro. But, the Blues are still keen to improve their attack even further. Hence, this has opened exit doors for many of the current players.
Firstly, Sancho has already been sent back after he rejected to lower his wages. Now, the Blues will sell both Joao Felix and Christopher Nkunku. In addition, there are now doubts about the future of Nicolas Jackson. Lastly, Noni Madueke is also not considered untouchable.
Chelsea still interested to sign 24 year old attacker
The star in question here is Mohammed Kudus of West Ham United. He is 24 years old and can play as all left winger, right winger, attacking midfielder and striker. He has £85 million release clause in his contract but it is believed that Hammers can let him leave for less than that.

According to Simon Phillips, Chelsea still hold interest in Kudus. Earlier, the Blues offered £50 million to sign him. But, that offer was quickly turned down by Hammers. Phillips has reported that it has not affected Chelsea and they are still willing to sign him.
Kudus does have other options available in market. He can reject joining Chelsea due to their high squad depth. The 24 year old will like to play regularly and it can’t be guaranteed by the West London Club. But, he can be tempted to play for them due to lucrative contract. It is difficult to predict where Kudus will play next season as he also has interest from Non-English clubs.
