Manchester City have confirmed Kayky has joined Bahia, subject to international clearance.

Kayky joined City in April 2021, with the Blues paying Fluminense an initial £9m. The Brazilian helped the club's Elite Development Squad win the Premier League 2 title the following season, scoring six goals and grabbing four assists in 13 appearances.

The forward made his Premier League debut in the 2021/22 campaign, appearing as a substitute in a 4-0 win over Norwich City.

Kayky spent the first part of the 2022/23 season out on loan at Portuguese side Pacos Ferreira before joining Bahia on a temporary deal mid-season.

An anterior cruciate ligament injury in July 2023 meant he was forced to spend time on the sidelines before moving to Sparta Rotterdam ahead of the 2024/25 season. He would join Bahia later in the campaign and has now completed a permanent switch to the Brazilian club.

City released a statement confirming Kayky's permanent departure, with the club wishing the youngster the best of luck for the future.

City are expected to sanction a number of sales this summer. Jack Grealish, Kalvin Phillips and Kyle Walker could all be set to leave the club before the window closes on September 1.
