Everton could potentially have an opportunity to sign Leicester City midfielder Wilfried Ndidi this transfer window.
The 28-year-old suffered relegation from the Premier League last season, but he may be on his way out of the Foxes soon.
David Moyes has Ndidi on his radar, with the Toffees having the opportunity to seal a bargain transfer with the Nigeria international’s £9million release clause.
Abdoulaye Doucoure’s exit from Goodison Park has left the Blues wanting for a new midfielder, but they face competition to complete a deal for the 28-year-old.

Moyes must push for bargain Ndidi transfer at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Idrissa Gueye’s new contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium is expected to be signed soon after some hurdles during negotiations.
While the 35-year-old may stay at the Toffees for another season, more midfielder reinforcements could potentially be needed this summer.
Tim Iroegbunam struggled for regular game time at the Blues last season, and it wouldn’t be surprising to see the former Aston Villa ace demand an exit in the coming weeks.
Everton have Galatasaray midfielder Gabriel Sara on their radar, but it would arguably make sense to sign Ndidi instead.
The Nigeria international has vast experience in English football, and his release clause undoubtedly presents great value.
While the 28-year-old wasn’t at his best last season, the defensive midfielder has shown his qualities in the Premier League over the years.
Ndidi still has a lot to offer and may be the long-term replacement for Gueye in the squad, but it remains to be seen whether the Blues will sign him.
