According to BILD, Arsenal have now added Hugo Ekitike to their wishlist. In addition, they are also linked with Julian Alvarez but signing him will not be easy. Lastly, the report states that Gunners have no intention to pay €100 million for Ekitike at the moment.
Arsenal have Sesko and Gyokeres as top targets this summer. Both of these strikers can cost much less that Ekitike. But, the French man will become top target if Gunners fail to land both Sesko and Gyokeres. It will be interesting to see who ends up at the Emirates.
As for Chelsea, losing Ekitike will not mean anything. They have already signed Joao Pedro from Brighton. But, Liverpool will view Arsenal joining the race as big blow. They are keen to sign a new striker as Arne Slot wants to move-on from Darwin Nunez. In addition, they are said to make a move once Nunez is sold.
