Liverpool's 2025/26 pre-season: Fixtures, results & where to watch - Liverpool
Liverpool are tasked with turning their Premier League glory in 2024/25 into domestic dominance, and have responded in kind in the transfer market, with Arne Slot already welcoming the likes of Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez to Anfield in the off-season.
Picking up where they left off will be the Dutchman’s main objective in 2025/26, and they may even be able to benefit from their early transfer activity by integrating their new arrivals well in time before the first match of pre-season.
Here are Liverpool’s 2025/26 pre-season fixtures, along with a look at TV information, kick-off times and the start to the upcoming league campaign.

Liverpool’s pre-season fixtures
Six matches are in the diary ahead of the big kick-off on 15th August. First up is a trip to Preston North End’s Deepdale, which comes two weeks before the Reds jet off to Asia, where they will face Milan in Hong Kong and Yokohama F. Marinos in Japan at the end of July.
Back home, they will take on Athletic Club in a one-day double-header at Anfield, with games taking place at 5pm and 8pm.
Their pre-season concludes with a return to Wembley to take on FA Cup winners Crystal Palace in the Community Shield for the season’s traditional curtain-raiser. This comes five days before they get their title defence underway at home to Bournemouth.

Where to watch Liverpool’s pre-season matches
TV information for Liverpool’s pre-season programme is thin on the ground as it stands, though the Community Shield clash against Palace will be shown on TNT Sports, while they will get the Premier League season underway in front of the Sky Sports cameras.
Liverpool’s 2025/26 Premier League fixtures
The champions’ tie against the Cherries on the opening night is followed by a daunting-looking trip to St James’ Park, with Newcastle United their first away opponents of the new season.
The fixtures don’t get much easier from there, as a meeting between last season’s top two closes out August when Arsenal come to town.
After the international break, Liverpool also face newly promoted Burnley, Merseyside rivals Everton and a swift reunion with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
Note: All fixtures are subject to change. TV selections for fixtures after MW1 have not been announced.
