Arsenal have made contact with the representatives of Crystal Palace attacker Eberechi Eze regarding a potential summer transfer, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Gunners are expected to make multiple signings to bolster the attack. A versatile winger is one of their targets and Eze has recently emerged as a possible solution.
The England international had a good 2024/25 season with the Eagles, registering 25 goal contributions. He also bagged the winning goal in the FA Cup final.
Romano reports that Arsenal had a meeting with the player's entourage on Sunday to understand the conditions for a transfer in the near future.
There is presently a release clause worth £68m in his contract, but that is payable in three instalments of £20m as well as an add-on package of £8m.
Eze has already given the green light for a move, but a deal eventually depends on whether the Gunners make a formal approach for his services.
Real Madrid's Rodrygo remains the main winger target for the Gunners. If he is unavailable, the club could focus on landing Eze from Palace.
