Manchester United are embracing a new start, and the beginning of a new football year is set to commence.
Three first team players are among the nine players leaving Manchester United with their contracts expiring. Christian Eriksen, Jonny Evans and Victor Lindelof will all depart.
United have already signed Matheus Cunha, and more business is expected imminently. This could be concluded as soon as July 1.
Here are four deals Manchester United could announce imminently.
Bryan Mbeumo
Manchester United are set to seal a move for Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo, with the Red Devils keen to tie up a move before the players report to pre-season on July 7.
A fee is close to being agreed with Brentford in the region of £60 million. Mbeumo will become the third Cameroon international ever to play for United.
Mbeumo scored 20 goals for Brentford last season, and the 25-year-old is ready for a new challenge, viewing United as his ‘dream move’.

Diego Leon
Manchester United tied up a deal with Paraguayan wonderkid Diego Leon at the end of 2024. He has played on with Cerro Porteno, turning 18 in April.

Leon could get a chance to play for Manchester United in pre-season, where he would become the first ever Paraguayan player to feature for the club.
It is possible Leon will head out on loan, a decision United will make this summer. The teenager is a left-back, and has been compared to Marcelo.
Enzo Kana-Biyik
French striker Enzo Kana-Biyik is set to sign for Manchester United, following the Paul Pogba path from Le Havre.
Kana-Biyik is under consideration for pre-season, but it has also been reported he will be loaned out to Ineos’ owned Lausanne-Sport in Switzerland.
United beat competition from Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain for Kana-Biyik’s signature.
Harley Emsden-James
Manchester United are also set to swoop for Southampton teenager Harley Emsden-James.
Emsden-James will join Manchester United’s academy. He is a 16-year-old centre-back who has already played under-18s football.
There is reason to be excited about this one, with technical director Jason Wilcox having in-depth knowledge of the talent at his former club.
