Barcelona have reportedy come up with a plan to get the best out of Dani Olmo in his second season with the club.
[Olmo signed last summer from RB Leipzig](https://www.barcablaugranes.com/2024/8/9/24215207/official-barcelona-sign-dani-olmo-from-rb-leipzig) and went on to score 12 goals and bag six assists in 39 appearances for the club in all competitions.
Yet his campaign was disrupted by a series of muscle injuries, meaning he only ended up making 13 starts in La Liga for Hansi Flick’s side.
According to Diario Sport, the Catalans now have a plan to try and ensure Olmo has much more impact in the coming campaign.
A fitness plan, similar to the one used by Pedri, has been put in place - and Barcelona are hoping it can limit his injury problems and ensure he’s available more often.
The feeling is that Olmo is a game changer due to his “ability to turn games around with his vision, technique, arrivals and goals.”
Barcelona also want to make a few tactical tweaks. The arrival of Nico Williams will mean that Olmo is used more often as a false nine - allowing him the chance to shine.
Olmo was used as a false nine last season on occasion, notably in the 5-1 win over Real Betis where he scored twice.
