The Milwaukee Bucks may or may not be determining whether they should trade Giannis Antetokounmpo this offseason and essentially start over as an organization. Naturally, making a decision on parting with their face of the franchise is not one that comes lightly.
However, as the start of NBA free agency approaches, according to [Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints](https://clutchpoints.com/nba/nba-stories/siegels-scoop-latest-warriors-jonathan-kuminga-nba-free-agency-intel), the Bucks are also reportedly interested in trading for Andrew Wiggins from the Miami Heat.
> “Another team that has expressed a level of interest in Wiggins is the Milwaukee Bucks, sources said. As they continue to seek improvements to their roster around Giannis Antetokounmpo, the Bucks are exploring opportunities in the trade market and free agency. Teams around the league, including the Warriors, continue to monitor Bobby Portis’ availability.”

> ClutchPoints on Milwaukee Bucks/Andrew Wiggins
Wiggins has just one year left on his contract, where he’s set to earn $28.2 million in 2025. He then has a $30.1 million player option for the 2026 season, in what will be the final year of his deal.
However, with the Heat potentially interested in acquiring another star, they could view Wiggins as expendable. While the one-time All-Star has displayed an ability to play at a high level, he’s three years removed from winning a title in Golden State.
Now 30 years old, Wiggins could be a valuable piece for a Milwaukee team that could use more of a scoring punch during Damian Lillard’s absence as he recovers from a torn Achilles tendon. Or, if the Bucks do decide to negotiate an Antetokounmpo trade, it’s possible Wiggins would be one of the centerpieces headed back to Milwaukee.
