With the NBA free agency period officially in effect on Monday, it has given and taken.

It was also announced that point guard Kevin Porter Jr. has declined his player option with the Bucks, and has decided to explore the free agency route.

In his one season with the Bucks, Porter Jr. averaged 10 points, four boards, and three assists per game throughout the regular season.

But the underlying question on the status of Giannis Antetokounmpo staying in Milwaukee remains. Rumors are still swirling around the possibility of Antetokounmpo being traded.

It goes without saying that the loss would be a big blow to the organization. But one primary agenda for the two remain aligned, and that is winning a championship.
