We have a blockbuster trade in the NFL where a three-time All-Pro corner is sent from Miami to Pittsburgh, and then Pittsburgh is sending 3-time All-Pro defensive back Minol Fitzpatrick down to Florida.
So the question becomes, are the Steelers all in this year?
It certainly looks like it at least from name recognition alone.
Look at the names that they've acquired this year.
You've got Johnny Smith being traded also today to the Steelers and reuniting with Arthur Smith, as former offensive coordinator.
You've got Jalen Ramsey, but you've also got an offseason that saw DK Metcalf move to Pittsburgh.

We saw Darius Slay signed by the Steelers to already augment their secondary, and of course, Aaron Rodgers is their.
Quarterback.
So what does this all mean?
Well, it means certainly Pittsburgh will be one of the biggest conversation pieces in the NFL.
They usually are anyway, but this cements that.
The real question is does this put them in the same tier as teams like Kansas City, Buffalo, even in their own division teams like Baltimore.
I'm not sure that it does.
Look, the Steelers have a schedule that's really interesting.
It looks right now like it's favorable to start with and it it's difficult on the back end.

I could see a fast start for.
Pittsburgh, but then what will be viewed as a collapse as they start to take on some of the more meat in their schedule later in the year.
The question is what will all of that mean for this organization?
It certainly looks like the Steelers, a team noted for their long term development and planning, have taken a short term strategy to this year.
Let's get as good as possible as we can right now and try and win a Super Bowl today.
All of these moves make them newsworthy.
I'm not sure it makes them Super Bowl worthy when the season is said and done.
