MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - After drafting three promising prospects, the rookies and the rest of the young Grizzlies core will play in the NBA Summer League starting in July.
The Grizzlies will play seven games, 3 in Salt Lake City and 4 in Las Vegas.
Three games will be played in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah’s Jon M. Huntsman Center.
Saturday, July 5 vs OKC Thunder at 6 p.m. (ESPNU)
Monday, July 7 vs Utah Jazz at 8 p.m. (NBA TV)
Tuesday, July 8 vs Philadelphia 76ers at 6 p.m. (NBA TV)
The next set of games in Las Vegas will be played at the University of Nevada’s Pavilion.
Friday, July 11 vs Boston Celtics at 3 p.m. (NBA TV)
Saturday, July 12 vs Portland Trail Blazers at 9:30 p.m. (ESPN 2)
Tuesday, July 15 vs Golden State Warriors at 9:30 p.m. (NBA TV)
Thursday, July 17 vs Atlanta Hawks at 5 p.m. (NBA TV)
The top four teams in the league will advance to the playoffs that will start on July 19, with the championship airing on ESPN on July 20.
The 26 teams that do not make the playoffs will play a fifth game on July 18-20.
The three draft selections for Memphis arrived in the city on June 27 to receive their new jerseys and be introduced at the opening press conference.
