Manchester City will face Fluminense in the quarter-final of the Club World Cup if they can overcome Al Hilal at the last-16 stage.

Pep Guardiola's team are preparing for their clash with Al Hilal at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando. City are the only team with a 100% record at this summer's tournament after they made light work of Group G, beating Wydad AC, Al Ain and Juventus as they booked top spot in the group.

A victory over Al Hilal would mean they need to win just three more games to be crowned world champions for the second time. And next up for them would be a clash with Fluminense.

The Brazilian side were drawn against Inter in the last-16 after they finished second in Group F behind Borussia Dortmund. Despite Inter topping their group, it was Fluminense who ran out the victors, beating Inter 2-0 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.

Fluminense went 1-0 up thanks to German Cano's third-minute goal. The Serie A side dominated the ball without really threatening to draw themselves level, with Fluminense adding a late second through Hercules to see out the win.

A win for City against Al Hilal would now set up a quarter-final clash with Fluminense on Friday. The game will kick off at 8pm UK time.
