Lockett began his career as an All-Pro returner, and went on to become one of the best receivers in franchise history and a player who was named to the Seahawks Top 50 Players. In 10 seasons with the Seahawks, Lockett totaled 661 receptions for 8,594 yards and 61 receiving touchdowns, all of which rank second in franchise history behind Hall of Famer Steve Largent. Lockett and Largent, who have the same birthday were both born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, are the only two players in team history to record four consecutive 1,000-yard seasons, with Lockett doing it from 2019-2022, a stretch that included a franchise record-setting 100 receptions in 2020 (Jaxon Smith-Njigba has since tied that record). The year before that streak of 1,000-yard seasons started, Russell Wilson had a perfect passer rating while targeting Lockett for the entire 2018 season, with Lockett catching 57 passes for 965 yards and 10 scores.
