MEMPHIS, Tenn. (WMC) - ESPN’s Shams Charania has announced that the Memphis Grizzlies are bringing three key players back for next season.
According to Charania, Jaren Jackson Jr. was signed to a 5-year $240 million max renegotiation-and-extension.
Coming off a season averaging 22.2 points, 5.6 rebounds on 49% shooting from the field, it was wise for Memphis to lock down one of their cornerstone pieces.
Charania also reported that Santi Aldama was signed to a 3-year, $52.5 million deal to return to Memphis.
Aldama is coming off a career year where he averaged 12.5 points and 6.4 rebounds.
Charania reported moments later that the Grizzlies are also extending Cam Spencer with a 2-year $4.5 million deal.
