Man Utd have waved goodbye to nine players as their summer rebuild continues this month.
Manchester United have officially released nine players after their contracts came to an end yesterday. The club formally announced their retained list when it was submitted to the Premier League a month ago, but those players were still contracted to the club until 30 June.
It means that although the players were free to negotiate with new clubs during that period, they were still all technically contracted to remain at Old Trafford until the end of last month. United named ten players on their latest retained list, though only nine of them have left after Tom Heaton signed a new one-year contract extension last month.

Manchester United release nine players
Nine players have officially left Manchester United after their respective deals expired yesterday. Victor Lindelof and Christian Eriksen are the two headline names on the list after they were not handed new playing contracts by head coach Ruben Amorim.
Neither of the experienced duo has secured new clubs as they consider all of their options at an important stage of their respective careers. Lindelof, 30, is the current Sweden captain while Eriksen, 33, still plays for Denmark, and both will hope to feature at the World Cup in a year. It means regular playing time this year will be crucial to secure their places in any potential World Cup squads.
Tom Heaton has signed his new one-year deal at the club, and Jonny Evans has been officially appointed in his youth development role, with the other departures all at academy level. Sam Murray has secured his move to the National League, though none of Hubert Graczyk, Jack Kingdon, Tom Myles, James Nolan or Tom Wooster have followed suit yet.
