Bobby Clark’s next move could set off a transfer scramble across continents, with at least 15 clubs lining up for the former Liverpool midfielder, per DaveOCKOP.com.
The 20-year-old is attracting serious interest from across Europe and beyond, as his time at Red Bull Salzburg appears to be nearing an end.
Clark made a low-key but promising start to senior football at Liverpool, debuting in the iconic 9–0 demolition of Bournemouth in August 2022.
Over three seasons, he made 14 appearances, netting once against Sparta Prague in the Europa League and picking up a League Cup winner’s medal in 2024.
His impact in the Carabao Cup final — coming on in the 72nd minute and holding his nerve as Liverpool’s youth overpowered Chelsea — was a glimpse of his potential under the big lights.
Following Jurgen Klopp’s departure from Liverpool, it was Pep Lijnders — newly appointed manager at Salzburg—who secured Clark’s signature for £10 million, along with a loan deal for Stefan Bajcetic.

Standing 5’10” (1.78m), Clark blends technical flair with a strong, agile frame. A versatile operator, he thrives in multiple midfield roles, known for his incisive passing and ghosting runs into the box. Despite limited top-flight minutes, his ceiling remains high — and clubs know it.
