Newcastle United and PSG are reportedly among the clubs monitoring Christopher Nkunku’s situation at Chelsea, where the French forward has struggled to make an impact.
Nkunku joined Chelsea from RB Leipzig in 2023 for £52 million, but injuries and fierce competition for minutes have limited his contributions. His long-term future at Stamford Bridge remains uncertain.
Earlier this year,journalist Ben Jacobs reported that PSG had explored a possible move before deciding to walk away. Bayern Munich also passed on a January transfer, thoughSport Bild’s Christian Falk noted they could revisit the idea later this year.
While Chelsea will want to recoup as much as they can from the initial fee, one report reveals they are willing to cut their losses to move off from this transfer failure.

Bayern Munichhave renewed their interest in Christopher Nkunku andare reportedly keen to strike a dealfor the versatile attacker,according to a report from TEAMtalk last month.
Chelsea aresaid to be asking for around £50 million, but Bayernbelieve there’s room to negotiate a lower fee. Nkunku isunderstood to be open to a fresh start, and with his past success in the Bundesliga, Bayernare viewed as one of the frontrunners to sign him.
TEAMtalkpreviously noted that Chelseaare willing to sell Nkunku but initially set a £59 millionprice tag. That figure is currently out of reach for Juventus, whoare hoping to lower the fee if talks progress.
Juventus’ ability to make a move could hinge on qualifying for the Champions League, which would boostboth their finances and appeal to Nkunku.
The report also adds that Bayern and Newcastle United haveboth shown interest in the 27-year-old as potential suitors ahead of the summer window.
