Manchester United have now been tipped to enter the race to sign one midfield talent who has emerged on the radar of the Saudi Pro League, according to reports.
The Red Devils have been linked with signing a new midfielder this summer and Ruben Amorim is believed to be keen on reinforcing the role in his tactical system.
Ruben Amorim’s options are currently limited for players in the middle of the park after Christian Eriksen left the Red Devils at the end of the 2024-25 season.
Christian Eriksen has since become a free agent after the 33-year-old former Manchester United midfielder’s contract with the club expired on 30th June.
Amorim has an ageing Casemiro among his ranks and Kobbie Mainoo’s season at Old Trafford in the 2024-25 Premier League campaign was disrupted due to injuries.
There are also big question marks around Manuel Ugarte and the role that the 24-year-old Uruguayan defensive midfielder could play under United manager Amorim.
