Andy Diouf favours Crystal Palace move, despite Burnley agreement

_1_

As reported by **RMC Sport,** Burnley have reached an agreement with RC Lens regarding the transfer of Andy Diouf (22). However, the France youth international favours a move to one of their Premier League rivals, according to **[L’Équipe](https://www.lequipe.fr/Football/Actualites/Mercato-crystal-palace-ou-burnley-pour-andy-diouf-le-milieu-de-lens/1574466).**

Diouf is a long-term target for Crystal Palace and the Frenchman favours a move to the London club over Burnley, recently promoted back to the Premier League. The Clarets, unlike Crystal Palace, have an agreement in place with _Les Sang et Or_ for a transfer worth €18m.

At this point, it looks highly likely that Diouf will leave Lens and that he will be playing in the Premier League next season. The question remains where. **L’Équipe** understands that Crystal Palace is seemingly the player’s priority, however, the club have yet to reach an agreement with _Les Sang et Or_ or the player. The France U21 international’s current deal with Lens runs until the summer of 2028.
