Celtic aren’t messing about as they continue to enhance the squad ahead of the new Premiership season.
Callum Osmand is in the building after joining from Fulham on Monday, as the highly-rated youngster becomes Celtic’s fourth signing of the 2025 summer transfer window.
The 18-year-old has no experience of senior football, so this is a gamble, especially with Brendan Rodgers in need of a striker.
Of course, Kyogo Furuhashi hasn’t been replaced yet, after his surprise departure in January, and you wonder if Osmand is the man brought in to do that; only time will tell.
But overall, the Celtic fans issued a pretty positve reaction to this signing, and the player himself also received several warm messages when he took to social media to confirm his move.

How Fulham reacted to Callum Osmand joining Celtic
When the news came through about Osmand’s transfer, he took to Instagram to write a message to the Fulham fans, as well as a post for his new club.
Osmand used one word, and that was ‘grateful’, as his journey at the London club is now over, and he also told Celtic that he is ‘proud to be here’.
In the comments section of Osmand’s IG post, Fulham wrote a message for the player, including several young academy stars, telling him to go and show everyone what he is all about.
Fulham: ‘Wishing you all the best in your next chapter, Cal. 🤍’
Farhaan Ali Wahid: ‘Good luck, my boy.’
Luca Picotto: ‘All the best, bro.’
Bradley de Jesus: ‘Smash it, mate.’
Luis Brown: ‘Top.’
Seth Ridgeon: ‘Damn.’

Celtic’s striker options after Osmand’s signing
Even though Osmand didn’t make a senior appearance for Fulham, he has joined to go straight into the main picture under Brendan Rodgers.
On paper, the Celtic manager has three out-and-out strikers to pick from, but two of them are very inexperienced, whilst others can be versatile across the front line.
Either way, it’s going to be interesting to see if another striker joins before the close of play in August.
