£60m star is now keen to join Tottenham despite just holding talks with Arsenal - Fabrizio Romano

Tottenham Hotspur’s transfer plans are starting to take shape, and one of their key attacking targets has revealed that he is open to joining.

It’s been a rather quiet transfer window up until this point for Spurs, with Mathys Tel signing permanently their only completed arrival.

Thomas Frank will be keen to add to his squad as they prepare for the Champions League and to improve on last season’s 17th-place finish.

The new Danish head coach has just been handed a major boost after learning that one of his priority targets has told the club he is open to joining.

Mohammed Kudus is open to joining Tottenham

Mohammed Kudus has made it clear that he is open to joining Tottenham Hotspur this summer, according to Fabrizio Romano.

The journalist has revealed that Spurs have started talks with the player’s agents to understand the conditions of a move for the Ghanaian international.

Initial talks between the two parties have been positive, with personal terms and the potential project in North London being discussed.

Frank has approved Tottenham’s move for Kudus during transfer talks with the board, and now they appear to be accelerating their move to land him.

Kudus had a poor campaign last term as he netted just five goals and got three assists, but during the 2023/24 season, he was excellent, netting 18 times.

Tottenham will now continue talks with West Ham and the player about a transfer this summer as they look to hand their new manager a marquee addition.

Arsenal have also held talks to sign Mohammed Kudus

TBR Football understands that West Ham want over £60m for Kudus, which is considerably less than his £80m release clause.

Also, as revealed by TBR Football, Arsenal have held talks for Kudus, meanwhile, Chelsea are also reported to still be in the race.

The Gunners are keen to sign another winger this summer, and the 24-year-old is a player who they really like. But right now, they risk losing him to Spurs.

Meanwhile, the Blues could yet have a say on proceedings despite the signings of Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens, with one more attacker being targeted.

Arsenal have contacted Eberechi Eze as another contender for their left wing, and there is also Rodrygo Goes from Real Madrid, who is being assessed.
