Dominic Calvert-Lewin will look back at his Everton career and wonder what might have been.
The 28-year-old confirmed earlier this week that he would be leaving David Moyes‘ side when his contract expired on 30 June.
The forward was signed from Sheffield United for £1.5million in 2016 and notched 57 goals and 18 assists in 239 matches, but injuries played a huge part in his time on Merseyside.
His campaign last time out was dismal; he made 26 appearances in the Premier League and scored just three times.

Everton and Calvert-Lewin were robbed
Calvert-Lewin was unplayable at his best in his nine-year spell, but unfortunately, the Goodison Park faithful never got to see that too often due to his fitness issues.
MORE TOFFEES STORIES
Iconic commentator Ian Darke believes that the way the former England star’s Blues career came to an end is a huge shame.
Speaking exclusively to Goodison News, he said: “Calvert-Lewin is a football story of what might have been.
“He could have been another famous Everton number nine.
“Injuries robbed him of ever entering that hall of fame.”

Calvert-Lewin will regret his time at Everton
Darke is right, Calvert-Lewin had the potential to join the pantheon of great strikers to put on the blue shirt, as he was a menace for defenders on his day.
He was cruelly denied the chance to do so by horrid luck with injuries, and will regret that it has come to a point where he is leaving Everton.
Calvert-Lewin is now free to join a new club, and he could stay in the top-flight with the likes of West Ham and Leeds interested in his services but may decide to move abroad, with Italian clubs also fancying him.
He could have been the man to fire the Blues to their first trophy since the FA Cup victory in 1995, but it was not to be, as he could not make it happen due to the array of problems that he suffered with.
Toffees supporters will wish him well in his next venture, but he will not be remembered as fondly as the likes of Duncan Ferguson, Graeme Sharp and Andy Gray.
