Borussia Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl says Jamie Gittens has been given permission to speak with CHELSEA , but a deal has not yet been agreed for the winger.
The club finished the season very well they got champions League football, and they won a European trophy, which doesn’t come around very often. So Enzo Maresca is looking the splash some more money improve the squad.
He has already acquired the services of Mamadou Sarr, Dario Essugo and Liam Delap, But there is always room for growth at CHELSEA – and that means the club will continue to seek players that will come in, sign massive contracts and hopefully develop into the stars of the future, and now the Blues are now closing in on their next transfer target.
Gittens is understood to have agreed personal terms with the club before Dortmund’s Club World Cup campaign got underway and the youngster has been eager to finalise a switch to Stamford Bridge as quickly as possible.
Quizzed on rumours that we had struck a £55m deal for Gittens, BVB chief Kehl told Sky Deutschland: ‘We have given Jamie permission to hold talks with another club, which are still ongoing.
