Juventus are now tipped to challenge Man Utd over a potential transfer for Napoli striker Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen has been linked with Manchester United and the Red Devils are in the market this summer with the intention of bringing a striker to Old Trafford.

The 26-year-old Nigerian striker spent the 2024-25 season out on loan at Galatasaray and Victor Osimhen impressed during his spell with the Turkish side.

Osimhen scored 37 times and registered eight assists in 41 matches across all competitions for Galatasaray before his loan deal expired on 30th June.

The United-linked striker is still on Galatasaray’s transfer radar and the Super Lig champions are believed to be interested in signing him on a permanent basis.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Osimhen has been a ‘big target’ for Juventus and the Italian club ‘intensified contact with him over the weekend.’

Juventus have identified a new striker as a ‘main focus’ for their transfer business and their aim is to make Osimhen say ‘yes’ to a move to the Turin-based club.
