Everton are continuing to prepare for their stadium move this summer, with competitive matches at the Hill Dickinson Stadium getting closer and closer.
The Toffees departed Goodison Park at the end of last season, bringing an iconic era to an end, but there is plenty of excitement about the move.
David Moyes will lead Everton into their new home at Bramley-Moore Dock, and the new ground is set to be league-leading in terms of facilities.
Some Everton fans are concerned that the new stadium will not ‘feel like home’ as Goodison Park has, but they will be delighted with a new development that has emerged today.

While the facilities at the Hill Dickinson Stadium will be world-class, there needs to be a nod to the history and traditions of Everton, and this is certainly a good way to start.
The badge looks set to be a sizeable one, and this should create more excitement ahead of the stadium seeing senior match action for the first time.
Everton’s first Hill Dickinson Stadium matches
Everton’s final match at Goodison Park was a special victory over Southampton, and they will hope to start off at their new stadium in a similar manner.
The first match at the new ground will be a pre-season friendly against Roma, who are also owned by The Friedkin Group, with a legends match taking place after the 90 minutes.
Everton’s first Premier League game at the Hill Dickinson will take place against Brighton on the weekend of 23rd August, and this will follow a trip to Elland Road to face Leeds in the opening game.
Moyes will hope for a win to get off to the best start, and fans will hope that a similar raucous atmosphere can be produced at their new home as was seen at Goodison over the years.
