The attacking options that Chelsea are to have at their disposal next season are set to look very different to those who were present for the Conference League final just a month ago.
Enzo Maresca will be able to choose from a group that will now include Jamie Gittens and Joao Pedro, with the club agreeing fees with Borussia Dortmund and Brighton respectively.
Pedro will sign his Chelsea contract in the next few hours, and will be available for selection for their Club World Cup quarter-final against Palmeiras.
The Blues were hot on signing Gittens from before the transfer window even opened, however were not able to get the deal over the line before the first deadline.

Chelsea offering Tyrique George on loan after signing Jamie Gittens
He is expected to play as an outright left winger, with Jadon Sancho having departed after his loan at the club and Mykhailo Mudryk being charged by the FA.
Tyrique George does remain an option at Stamford Bridge after his breakout season as a first team star. His first Premier League goal against Fulham was crucial in the club’s push to qualify for the Champions League.
There is clearly a lot of faith in the Cobham graduate to achieve great things in West London, however there does now look to be serious competition for his place again.
For this reason, Chelsea are looking at better options to further his development. According to The Athletic, the Blues are offering the winger for a loan move for the upcoming season.

Premier League interest in ‘quality’ Tyrique George
The winger has clearly left an impression on those who have watched him this season. Marc Cucurella described George as ‘quality’.
There are already reports that Everton are keen on signing George, with them likely to be able to offer him more regular minutes.
The Englishman has already made an impact during the ongoing Club World Cup. He found the net in the third group stage game against ES Tunis.
It remains to be seen whether he will be given a chance to feature against Palmeiras, with Pedro set to be competing for a place in the side too.
