Arsenal are ramping up their search for attacking reinforcements ahead of the 2025/26 season, with The Athletic’s David Ornstein reporting that the club is actively exploring moves for three Premier League wingers: Eberechi Eze (Crystal Palace), Noni Madueke (Chelsea), and Morgan Rogers (Aston Villa).

Manager Mikel Arteta is said to be pushing for a versatile forward who can operate across the front line and offer tactical flexibility. All three players under consideration, Eze, Madueke, and Rogers fit that profile, with each bringing a unique blend of flair, pace, and adaptability.

Eberechi Eze, 27, is viewed as one of the most technically gifted attackers in the Premier League. Fresh off an FA Cup-winning campaign with Palace, the England international has impressed with his ability to glide past defenders and unlock tight defensive setups. However, his £68 million release clause and interest from London rivals Tottenham could complicate any potential move.

Chelsea’s Noni Madueke, 23, is another player of interest. Known for his explosive speed and direct style, Madueke has struggled for regular minutes at Stamford Bridge but remains highly rated. Arsenal believe a change of scenery could unlock his full potential, though any move would depend on Chelsea’s willingness to part ways with the former PSV winger.

Also 23, Morgan Rogers has emerged as a rising star at Aston Villa, enjoying a breakthrough campaign under Unai Emery. A former Manchester City youth product, Rogers is admired for his intelligent movement and positional flexibility. While Villa are keen to keep hold of him, Arsenal may test their resolve amid growing speculation of a formal bid.

This attacking pursuit forms part of a wider recruitment strategy. The Gunners have already sealed a deal for Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi and are advancing talks with Valencia for defender Cristhian Mosquera. However, bolstering the attack remains a key priority, particularly with doubts over the futures of Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Jakub Kiwior, as well as potential exits for loanees such as Albert Sambi Lokonga and Reiss Nelson.

According to The Athletic’s analysis, all three winger targets would add tactical depth to Arteta’s high-pressing, fluid attacking system. Eze would bring creativity and control, Madueke offers raw pace and unpredictability, while Rogers contributes work rate and positional versatility.

Whether Arsenal sign one or more of the trio could depend on how the market develops and how much the club can raise through player sales.
