Hull City are having second thoughts about sanctioning a whopping contract to land Aston Villa's Louie Barry.
The Tigers signalled their determination to land the striker from Aston Villa in a £3.5m transfer by putting together a mega-bucks deal.
However, it appears that the cash on the table might be too rich for the club, and now they are having second thoughts.

Hull singled out the former West Brom academy star as their main striking target this summer.
The 22-year-old was seen as one of Villa’s aspiring young players - and he was paid as such at Villa Park.
His salary was nudging the £1m-a-year figure - but Hull’s owner Acun Ilicali has had to trump that to get his man.
Barry stood to earn a £1.5m annual salary (around £30,000-a-week) from the Tigers if they can push the transfer over the line - but now it appears they will make a U-turn.
That’s a huge sum for a player who has yet to prove himself at Championship level.

He rattled in 16 goals in all competitions last season for Stockport County before being shipped out to Hull as Villa wanted to see if he could cope at a higher level.
Barry spent the second half of the campaign on Humberside but picked up a knee injury within the first few matches.

But he clearly did enough to convince the Tigers and their ambitious boss Ilicali that he can cope at that level as they try to push through the deal for his signature.
