RANGERS have agreed a deal with the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) to sign midfielder Joe Rothwell, the Daily Echo understands.
The Englishman will join the Scottish giants for an undisclosed fee, joining new boss Russell Martin and Cherries loanee Max Aarons at Ibrox.
Rothwell joined AFC Bournemouth in the summer of 2022 from Blackburn on a free transfer but has had two loan spells while at the club.
First, he joined Martin’s Southampton side who achieved promotion to the Premier League in 2023/24, before he joined Championship Leeds last season, who also sealed promotion to the top flight.
Rothwell played 35 times for the Cherries, including 20 in the Premier League in his first season at the club, before 11 in the league in his second campaign with the club, before going on loan to Saints in January.
He has opted to join the Scottish giants over offers from La Liga, as he entered the final year of his contract in Dorset.
