Manchester City are open to offers for Jack Grealish, John Stones, Ilkay Gundogan, Kalvin Phillips, Kyle Walker and James McAtee.
Pep Guardiola has reiterated his desire to reduce the numbers in his squad. City have made four permanent signings this summer and currently have 34 players in their senior squad.

Guardiola threatened to ‘quit’ if City did not offload numbers earlier this year and again expressed his desire for a smaller squad last month. Efforts to trim down the squad are due to step up following the club’s exit from the FIFA Club World Cup.
According to Flashscore, City have received multiple enquiries for Grealish, who was left out of the Club World Cup squad to assess his options. Newcastle, Tottenham and Everton have all ‘expressed interest’, while AC Milan and Napoli have also contacted the Citizens.
Everton are also interested in re-signing their former defender, John Stones, while Brighton are weighing up a bid for the England international. The 31-year-old made just six Premier League starts during an injury-hit 2024/25 campaign.
Kyle Walker and Kalvin Phillips are free to leave after loan spells at Milan and Leeds respectively, while Galatasaray are considering an approach for Gundogan.
City also expect to receive significant interest in James McAtee, who is valued at around £25m. McAtee captained England to success at the u-21 European Championship this summer. Five Premier League clubs have expressed interest, alongside teams in the Bundesliga.
