Man United dream attack after Ollie Watkins and Bryan Mbeumo transfers completed

Bryan Mbeumo takes a free kick during the Premier League match between Wolverhampton Wanderers FC and Brentford FC.

Manchester United are continuing to push to sign Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo this summer.

Bringing in attacking options appears to be a priority for in the current summer transfer window as they look ahead to the 2025/26 season.

The club have already completed the capture of from Wolves in a £62.5 million deal. The Brazilian is able to play anywhere along the front line and in the number 10 position.

Another player who has shown versatility which could be useful to ’s side is . United have so far seen two bids turned down by Brentford for the forward, but are with the club retaining confidence that a deal can be done.

If that is a case he is again a player who can be deployed in both one of the wider roles or as a central striker. United are however still keen on bringing an out-and-out striker to the club this summer.

One of the latest names to be linked is . The striker scored 16 Premier League goals last season, despite not always being first choice.

It’s reported that Villa are sticking to their £60million valuation that they put on the striker in the January window. If they are to pursue their interest, United would likely need to bring money in via sales.

One player who could leave is striker Rasmus Hojlund. The Dane has failed to pull up any trees since moving to Old Trafford in the summer of 2023 with last season seeing him score just 10 goals in 52 appearances in all competitions.

Inter Milan are one of the club to be linked with an interest in the striker. They now however seem to have turned to Parma’s Ange-Yoan Bonny.

If United could cash in on Hojlund this summer, it would bring in some extra cash to be able to spend on players such as Watkins. The Villa man is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and gives United a focal point, with Mbeumo, Cunha and youngster Chido Obi providing back-up and competition for the main striking role.

Both Mbeumo and Cunha would also be options for the slightly more withdrawn role. Amad, Mason Mount and Joshua Zirkzee would also provide options and competition for that position.

Man United dream attack:

Number 10s: Amad, Mbeumo, Cunha, Zirkzee, Mount.

Number 9s: Watkins, Mbeumo, Cunha, Obi.
