Feyenoord have told Liverpool and other suitors to stump up €20m (£17m) if they want to buy winger Anis Hadj Moussa this summer, according to reports in Portugal.
Newspaper O Jogo (via Sport Witness) claim that the Reds, Nottingham Forest and Benfica are all considering whether to make bids for the Algerian international.
Moussa moved to Feyenoord just after Arne Slot’s departure for Anfield last year but there is no doubt that he would have held meetings about signing the forward in the months leading up to the player being purchased by the Dutch club.

In his first season with the Eredivisie side, the 23-year-old scored 11 goals and registered 5 assists in 43 appearances.
Why are Liverpool interested in Moussa?
The Feyenoord star is a left-footed right winger, which isn’t a common profile in Europe’s top leagues. You would assume that he has been identified as a potential backup option for Mo Salah.
The Egyptian is now 33 years of age, so there will be doubts over how much longer his body can handle the rigours of playing every 3 to 4 days. With that in mind, a player could be signed to take some of the workload off him.
This is not the first time that Moussa has been linked with a switch to Anfield. In January, it was reported that contact had been made with his agent.
Elliott, Chiesa and Doak’s futures are in doubt
While Salah does prefer to play the majority of games, the Reds do have several options currently who can be provide cover for him if required.
However, Harvey Elliott, Federico Chiesa and Ben Doak could all be allowed to leave before the end of the transfer window.
Elliott has interest from the likes of Newcastle, West Ham, Brighton and Fulham. Chiesa could return to Italy, while Doak has been tipped as a possible makeweight in a deal for Crystal Palace’s Marc Guehi. If all three were to be offloaded, a move for Moussa would make sense.
