Kepa joins Arsenal from Chelsea after Cherries loan

KEPA Arrizabalaga has joined Arsenal from Chelsea after a successful loan spell with the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) last season.

The Spaniard impressed between the sticks for Andoni Iraola’s side, and has joined the Gunners after the North London club triggered his release clause.

He was reportedly never an option for Bournemouth to bring him in on a permanent deal this summer, due to his high wages.

Kepa signed a new deal with Chelsea when he signed on loan at the Cherries last summer.

He played 35 times for Bournemouth last season, keeping nine clean sheets and conceding 43 goals in a record-breaking season for the club.

The 30-year-old joins Arsenal to bolster their ranks at goalkeeper, after Neto returned to Bournemouth after last season’s loan.
