What Mohammed Kudus' agents are now doing amid interest from Chelsea with player's stance clear - journalist

West Ham United forward and Chelsea target Mohammed Kudus could end up being involved in one of the biggest transfer sagas of the summer.

Chelsea would like to sign Kudus in this transfer window, but they are not the only Premier League club after his signature.

London rivals Tottenham Hotspur are also keen on the Ghana international. If Kudus does depart the London Stadium, West Ham could look to raid Chelsea.

West Ham are considering Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall and Carney Chukwuemeka ahead of Kudus’ potential exit.

Mohammed Kudus’ agents working on West Ham exit

Kudus recently signed up with ROOF, who are now managing the 24-year-old’s career.

He has already put them to work, with journalist Rahman Osman, who has great connections with those close to players from Africa, sharing that ROOF are “working round the clock” to get their client a move.

If Chelsea miss out on the former Ajax man, Enzo Maresca may not be too disappointed. The Chelsea head coach could still have a very exciting attack next season.

Maresca could field a forward line consisting of Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro, Jamie Gittens and Pedro Neto, for example.

Still, the Conference League winners look very keen on bringing Kudus to Stamford Bridge ahead of the new campaign.

Why Chelsea cannot sign Mohammed Kudus yet

According to Osman, while the journalist is unaware of Kudus’ preferred destination, the versatile attacker definitely wants to leave West Ham this summer.

That is good news for Chelsea, but a lot needs to happen before the Blues can bring him to west London.

For example, it is believed that Chelsea will have to sanction some sales before they are in a position to sign Kudus.

That could give Tottenham an opportunity to swoop in and beat their London rivals to his signature. Spurs may also be able to offer Kudus more game time, which could help them to persuade him to choose them over Chelsea if it becomes a choice between the two clubs.
