Rodrygo’s camp were upset at the winger’s lack of involvement in Real Madrid’s game against Pachuca, and the player has a big question mark over his future.

Guillermo Rai reports for The Athletic that sources close to Rodrygo were upset when the player was left on the bench for the full 90 minutes of Real Madrid’s recent Club World Cup group game against Pachuca.

Rodrygo was benched once again for the final group game against RB Salzburg, though he did come on for 23 minutes of that match.

Rai adds that the winger appears to have the biggest question mark over his future, of all the key players in Real Madrid’s squad.

It likely won’t help that many expect the winger to be on the bench once again as his team face Juventus on Tuesday night.

As a reminder, Real Madrid have so far been without Kylian Mbappe (illness), Endrick (injury), and incoming winger signing Franco Mastantuono at the Club World Cup.

If Rodrygo isn’t starting games now, will that change when Alonso has three more forwards to choose from?

James Benge reports for CBS Sports that as well as Arsenal’s interest, Saudi Arabian side Neom SC are also readying a bid for Rodrygo. It’s not clear at this stage whether the forward might consider a move away from Europe.

Benge adds that there’s been no indication of a final decision over Rodrygo’s future at Real Madrid, but Arsenal would figure prominently among his suitors if he chooses to go.
