Manchester City hosted another successful Golf Day, supporting the Club’s charity, City in the Community (CITC).
The event, presented by Jacob & Co and hosted at Mottram Hall, saw 19 teams take part in a day filled with fun, food, prizes and awards.
It is the first time Manchester City and City in the Community have combined their two golf day events.
The morning started with breakfast, before the teams took to the greens for a day of friendly competition.
As well as the classic 18-holes, special games featured along the course, such as beat the pro, longest drive and nearest to the pin.
After a day of golf, the teams enjoyed an evening meal, where the winners of the tournament were presented with their prizes and golfers could further support CITC by taking part in a raffle.
City in the Community’s Chief Executive, Michael Geary, said: “It’s always fantastic to see so many people coming together in support of our work.
“The funds raised through events like Manchester City’s Golf Day help us continue delivering empowering programmes that support the health, futures and communities of young people across Greater Manchester.
“We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who took part, Manchester City’s partnerships and events teams and to our sponsors Axi for making the day possible.”
All funds raised for CITC go towards the charity’s year-round work to empower healthier lives through football.
With thanks to event sponsors, Axi.
