Arsenal add £45m Chelsea ace to shortlist of forwards, weighing up official offer - Arsenal News
Arsenal have added Chelsea forward Noni Madueke to their shortlist, and are reportedly weighing up an offer for the 23 year old who is valued by Chelsea at £45m according to TalkSport.
The report adds that Arsenal have made contact with the player’s camp, but no talks have yet been held with their London counterparts. Chelsea are understood to be willing to let the player leave.
The Blues have been busy in the window already, adding Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens, Ipswich striker Liam Delap, and young Palmeiras starlet Estevao Willian to their front line. They are also nearing a deal for Brighton attacker Joao Pedro, which would add even more competition for places at Stamford Bridge.

It is likely that Chelsea will have to sell some players to make room in the squad, and Madueke is one of the names linked with an exit. He made 32 Premier League appearances last season under Enzo Maresca but never pinned down a starting place in the side.
Madueke on Arsenal radar
Arsenal are known to be in search of attacking reinforcements this summer, with a striker and a left winger said to be highest priorities. A right winger to provide cover for Bukayo Saka is also reportedly of interest to Arsenal, and it seems Madueke has now been added to that list.
Madueke is one of many players on Arsenal’s list of forward players that also reportedly includes Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Real Madrid star Rodrygo.
The 23 year old England attacker has shown glimpses of his ability, with his pace and trickery on display during short cameos. Consistency has been an issue for the player though as he wrestles with Pedro Neto for the starting right wing position at Chelsea.
He would become the latest in a long list of players to cross the Chelsea-Arsenal divide, which now includes Kepa Arrizabalaga who completed his move from Chelsea to Arsenal on Tuesday.
