The Milwaukee Bucks shook up the NBA on Tuesday morning when they acquired Myles Turner in a stunning move.
But they didn’t stop there: just moments later, Shams Charania reported that the Bucks were waiving Damian Lillard and stretching his remaining $113 million so they could get Turner.
That means that Lillard’s time in Milwaukee has come to a shocking end.

Lillard ends his stint with the Bucks with an average of 24.6 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 7.0 assists.
When he came to Milwaukee just two seasons ago, he was seen as the missing piece the team needed, the man who could work perfectly alongside Giannis Antetokounmpo and return the Bucks to the Finals.
It didn’t work out that way, and Milwaukee faced multiple injuries, coaching changes, and a strong Eastern Conference that was only growing.
Injuries were a problem once again this season, and Lillard hurt himself after just three games in the playoffs.
He is now recovering from his Achilles injury, and a timetable for his return is up in the air.
This move by the Bucks is a shocker and may end up being the most surprising move of the offseason.
It’s obvious why the team wanted Turner, but sacrificing Lillard for him is a big decision.
Will it cost the Bucks?
Clearly, things weren’t working like the team wanted, but will this solve all of their problems?
As for Lillard, he will definitely receive a lot of interest from other teams, even with his recent injury.
In the blink of an eye, the NBA offseason just shifted wildly with this move, and now there are more questions than ever.
