Tottenham Hotspur are advancing on a deal to sign West Ham United star Mohammed Kudus after an initial approach, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The north London club are looking to strengthen their attacking options for new manager Thomas Frank this summer, after reaching the Champions League group stages via winning the Europa League, despite a shocking Premier League season where they finished 17th.
The club have been looking at a number of attacking options on the wing and after making an approach to sign the Ghana star, they have been met with a positive response.

Kudus, who has been described as a 'superstar', is expected to leave the London Stadium this summer after two seasons with the club, having struggled under new manager Graham Potter in the second half of the 2024/25 season.
The Hammers want to sell in order to fund a rebuild, and Kudus is believed to be available for around £60m despite having a release clause worth £85m to Premier League clubs.
Tottenham are now the club with the most serious interest and according to Romano they have opened talks with his camp, and received a positive response about potentially joining the Lilywhites squad.
The 24-year-old winger is open to making the move to Spurs this summer despite the rivalry between the two clubs, and talks are ongoing between the two clubs and also the player's camp about finding a solution that suits all parties.
Romano also states that two other clubs are interested in a move for Kudus, with Chelsea believed to be one of them.
Spurs also had an interest in Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo, but the Cameroon star has made it clear he only wants to join Manchester United, while the club are also keen on Crystal Palace star Eberechi Eze but face stiff competition from fierce rivals Arsenal for his signature.
