Ruben Amorim and Manchester United could reportedly secure a hefty transfer fee from one Premier League club for a key first-team player this summer.
The Red Devils will soon begin their pre-season tour in the United States and in Europe ahead of the 2025-26 Premier League campaign at Old Trafford.
Manchester United’s Premier League fixture list dropped last month and Ruben Amorim has a tough task ahead of him for the new season with the Red Devils.
Amorim has had the first real opportunity to lay down the early work for a major overhaul of the United first-team squad that he inherited last November.
The 40-year-old United manager has already seen one major addition arrive at Old Trafford, with United signing Matheus Cunha from Wolves in June for a £62.5m fee.
Amorim will no doubt expect to see further signings arrive this summer, with United linked with Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo amid transfer interest from Tottenham.

Chelsea’s stance on Man Utd winger Alejandro Garnacho amid the transfer interest from Napoli
Alejandro Garnacho has been linked with Chelsea and Napoli in recent months and the Manchester United winger’s long-term future at Old Trafford remains bleak.
The 21-year-old Spain-born attacker’s relationship with Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim fractured towards the end of the 2024-25 Premier League campaign.
Alejandro Garnacho was critical of Amorim’s decision to drop him for United’s Europa League final defeat to Tottenham at the San Mames Stadium in May.
The United star’s brother also slammed the winger’s treatment at Old Trafford after United’s loss to Tottenham in the Europa League and Garnacho’s future is uncertain.
Amorim reportedly told Garnacho to ‘look for a new club’ this summer and TEAMtalk reports that Chelsea ‘remain well informed’ of the ‘situation’ around the player.
The publication claimed that a ‘possible solution’ is being explored between Chelsea and United over Garnacho and the Red Devils player ‘would like’ to play for the Blues.

How Chelsea are approaching their transfer interest in Napoli-linked Alejandro Garnacho amid Man Utd’s desire to sell the player
TEAMtalk suggested that Chelsea could ‘swoop in with an offer’ when the Blues ‘feel the time is right’ for them to sign Alejandro Garnacho from United.
It is believed that Garnacho is ‘enticed’ at the ‘prospect of moving to London’ and Chelsea are in the ‘best-placed’ position to sign the winger ahead of Napoli.
According to reports, Chelsea have seen the Argentina international as a player who has ‘top-class potential’ and believe it is a real ‘market opportunity to snare him.’
TEAMtalk added that Chelsea could be ‘willing to pay £55-60m’ for Red Devils attacker Garnacho, who is currently under contract with United until 2028.
