Man United are planning for a major summer overhaul. They are said to sign some top stars and part ways with current ones. Amidst this, they have set an asking price on young striker.
Manchester United are keen to sign some new players this summer. They had a very tough season recently. Hence, they are planning to part ways with many of their current stars. This includes both strikers – Hojlund and Zirkzee.
Both of the former Serie A strikers have failed to impress since moving to Old Trafford. United struggled a lot infront of goal this season. Hence, Ruben Amorim wants to sell both strikers and replace them with clinical goalscorer.
Man United set asking price for Rasmus Hojlund
Hojlund joined United for a hefty fee from Atalanta in 2023. He scored 16 goals and picked 2 assists in his first season at Manchester. Later, he scored only 10 goals and picked 2 assists in 2024/25 season. This is way behind the expectations the Red Devils had from him.
According to Corriere Dello Sport, United are keen to sell Hojlund. They have set an asking price of €40-45 million on him. The 22 year old is very heavily linked with a return to Serie A. He is being looked upon by Napoli and Inter Milan.
Hojlund will be open to join any of these clubs. But, the question will be if the Serie A gaints are open to meet United’s transfer fee demands of not. They will surely try to negotiate on lower fee as Hojlund has not been in form recently.
Moving back to Italy will be a good chance for Hojlund to get his career back on track. He could be very likely joined by Zirkzee on his way out from Old Trafford. In contrast, the Red Devils are likely to welcome a more proven goalscorer.
