Chelsea fans are all making the same point as Tyrique George is linked with possible loan exit

The transfer speculation regarding Tyrique George’s future has caused an interesting response from Chelsea fans on social media.

Tyrique George, 19, has stepped up from the Chelsea academy to the club’s first team during the 2024/25 season.

The English winger has made some impressive contributions in Enzo Maresca’s squad, including at the ongoing Club World Cup tournament.

Despite his first-team breakthrough, fresh reports claim that Chelsea are considering loaning out George amid interest from a lot of unspecified clubs. Ultimately, the Blues want the teenager to get regular game time in the next campaign, which could be difficult amid plenty of competition at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea fans would love to see Tyrique George loaned to Premier League club

Chelsea supporters on social media are making the same point that George would be a great candidate for a loan spell next season.

Here are Blues fans on X agreeing that a Premier League loan would be the perfect solution for their 19-year-old talent.

One fan said: “Premier League loan would be perfect.”

“Great news. I hope he goes to an English Premier League team,” another wrote.

One supporter posted: “He just needs a good loan with a Premier League club.”

“Good decision. One of these newly promoted clubs like Leeds should snap him up,” another claimed.

Back in May, George insisted his goal is to play regularly, so we’re not overly surprised he’s now linked with a potential temporary exit.

While we think he’s good enough to compete for a place in the Blues squad next season, it’s going to be a huge challenge to nail down a permanent starting position. Therefore, exiting the club on loan for the first time in his career could be a logical step.

Even though Joe Shields is a huge advocate of George, the long-term benefit of regular first-team football elsewhere could be huge.

Premier League club scouted Tyrique George earlier in 2025

The Chelsea Chronicle exclusively reported back in April that Premier League outfit Everton sent scouts to watch Chelsea attacker George represent England’s Under-19s.

On paper, Everton are the type top-flight club in England we would like to see George linked with again.

It must be stressed that the young talent is still in the infancy of his senior career, which is why it’s no guarantee he would start at any Premier League club. He would surely be an exciting option on loan for anyone in the bottom half of the division table, though.
