That’s one striker through the door for Celtic, and fans will be hoping there is another around the corner.
Callum Osmand joined Celtic from Fulham on Monday, and it’s an interesting transfer move from the champions of Scotland.
In truth, it isn’t a surprise because these are the type of deals Celtic usually conclude and get right, even if it frustrates fans and they crave that proven star.
But this is a familiar road for Celtic, especially for Brendan Rodgers himself, and that’s why this Osmand deal is even more exciting.
The last time the Hoops brought in an unknown teenager from Craven Cottage, he left a legacy that will remain forever.

This is where Rodgers has a fantastic eye for talent, because Moussa Dembele’s success at Celtic is an example of why Osmand can make it work in Glasgow.
It might not happen straight away, but the platform is there for him to thrive, and when Osmand’s deal was signed, sealed and delivered, it was mentioned by the SPFL’s social media account.
The SPFL posted a clip of Dembele’s thunderous goal against Rangers at Ibrox to show what could be to come from Celtic’s latest talents.

Dembele’s Celtic career in numbers
Henrik Larsson is Celtic’s greatest striker and the club’s best player of the modern era, as many goal scorers have tried to match his legacy.
Whilst nobody will probably match or surpass it again, you can still talk about those who are next best, and someone like Dembele comes into the conversation.

The other man – and perhaps the only one – is Kyogo Furuhashi because the Japan star was equally as dominant and popular as Dembele.
If Osmand can even reach those levels, then he is going to have a serious career.
