Chelsea midfield duo wanted by Premier League outfit

Two Chelsea stars are wanted by Premier League side this summer. The Blues are ready to sell those players and one of them was already away from Stamford Bridge on loan last season.

Chelsea have a very big squad depth. This can affect their future plans as they were already on the verge of breaching PSR last season. Hence, the club is now focused on selling some of the underperforming stars. They have made multiple players available in market out of which, two midfielders are wanted by another English club.

According to talkSPORT, two Chelsea stars are wanted by West Ham United. Hammers are likely to part ways with Mohammed Kudus this summer. They are planning to use money earned from that deal to land Carney Chukwuemeka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.

Kudus had a very good first season with West Ham. But, his form has drastically dipped in the recent season. Hence, they are open to sell him with many clubs showing interest. Kudus has £85 million release clause but Hammers are open to sell him for less than that.

Some West Ham fans want the club to keep hold of Kudus. But, this decision can backfire. If Kudus is unable to perform well this season, his valuation will fall down even more. Instead, Hammers may feel secure the bag a good option. This will allow them to improve other positions.

Both Chukwuemeka and Dewsbury-Hall have failed to impress for Chelsea. They have not been able to establish themselves under Enzo Maresca. Hence, they are lacking proper game-time. A move to West Ham will help them to get their career back on track by playing regularly.

As foe Kudus, he is amongst the targets of Chelsea. But, the Blues are unlikely to make a move for him. The Ghanaian still has many options available. He is wanted by Tottenham Hotspur who have already held talks with him. In addition, Newcastle are also monitoring him.
