Two years ago, the Seattle Seahawks brought back their iconic royal blue and silver throwback uniforms.
And now, it appears their white and silver throwbacks could also be returning.
Do Seahawks have enough in new-look WR room? Insider weighs in
According to a report Monday morning from SportsLogos.net, the Seahawks are set to unveil a white-and-silver road version of their popular 1990s-era uniforms in late July as the team heads into its 50th season as a franchise.
Per the report, the new white road throwbacks would complement the royal blue home throwbacks to mirror the uniform set the Seahawks wore from 1983 through 2001.
According to SportsLogos.net, the road throwbacks would feature a silver helmet with the traditional totem-style Seahawks logo, white jerseys with royal blue numbers, and silver pants with green, white and royal blue striping.
This would make the Seahawks the fifth NFL team to have both home and road throwbacks as part of their uniform set, per the report. The other teams are the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Miami Dolphins, New Orleans Saints and San Francisco 49ers.
