ANTOINE Semenyo has signed a new contract at the [Cherries](http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/cherries/clubnews/) that will keep him at the club until 2030.
The Ghanaian has put pen to paper on the new deal which extends his current contract by one year, after he joined AFC Bournemouth from Bristol City in January 2023.
The new contract will also serve to ward off any potential buyers for Semenyo, with rumours linking him to other clubs this summer after a brilliant 2024/25 campaign.
The forward scored 13 goals and notched seven assists in all competitions as the Cherries had a record-breaking season on the pitch.

He also appeared in all four of the side’s FA Cup fixtures as Bournemouth reached the quarterfinal stage, scoring twice and picking up one assist on that run.
AFC Bournemouth’s president of football operations, Tiago Pinto, was delighted that Semenyo had committed to the club.
He told the club website: “Antoine has been crucial to the club’s progress and is a key member of the project here at Vitality Stadium.

On signing his new deal, Semenyo said: “I’ve grown so much at the club, both on and off the pitch, and I’m really happy to have signed ahead of returning for pre-season.
“From the fans to the staff and my teammates, I can’t speak highly enough of the people around the club. It’s a great place to be and I’m excited to get back to Bournemouth and continue the hard work with the new season just around the corner.”
Semenyo will join up with his teammates in the coming week as Iraola’s side returns for pre-season.
