Spotted: Clearest 'leak' yet of Leeds United home kit emerges with Lowfields Tunnel nod

Leeds United fans await confirmation from the club as to what the new home kit is going to look like, but we may have seen the best glimpse yet.

The Whites come back into the Premier League looking to re-establish themselves as a force to be reckoned with in the future, utilising commercial opportunities once more as a top flight club.

Leeds’ shirt sales should stand them in good stead where revenue is concerned, with a long-awaited release drawing nearer in 25/26.

Clearest Leeds United home kit ‘leak’ yet emerges with sneaky store pictures

Footy Headlines reported some time ago that Leeds’ 25/26 kit would have a stylish nod to the Lowfields tunnel in the design of the new strip, alluding to the blue and yellow brickwork fans see every other week when flocking to Elland Road.

How that might look on the actual strip has been debated, with some thinking a bold pattern across the front could happen, while others thought it could be a pattern worked into the fabric akin to the peacock pattern of 23/24.

However, images have surfaced online (original source unknown) of several white strips hanging on the shelf inside one of the club’s stores, with all three of the megastore at Elland Road, the White Rose store, and Trinity Leeds store closed until Friday July 4th:

Leeds’ squad are expected to be back in pre-season from early next week, with the first televised pre-season clash coming on July 19th against Manchester United, which could be the first time we see this new kit in action.

Classy Lowfields nod on straightforward Leeds United kit design

The Lowfields brick pattern is a really nice touch, if this ends up being the kit design that we have for our new kit.

However, this leak has brought mixed reviews online from fans, looking quite similar to last season’s Championship-winning kit.

But it’s hard to make a simple white Leeds kit and not have it look similar to previous iterations, that’s just the nature of the design.

Where Adidas and the club will really make their money is through the supposed ‘Strongbow’ callback away kit in blue and yellow, which could sell out in record time.
