The Dutch right back had verbally agreed to join Everton on a free transfer having rejected previous approaches from the Whites, but changed his mind following the intervention of head coach Marco Silva. The 29 year-old has been Fulham’s first choice right back since moving to Craven Cottage from Lyon in September 2020.
Tete has made 119 appearances across four years in SW6, scoring four goals and his decision to sign a new deal is a huge boost for Silva going into a crucial summer.
