First glimpse of 49ers transfers connection with Leeds United and Rangers being finalised -…

The 49ers Enterprises have expanded their ownership structure this summer with the takeover of Rangers to go with Leeds United, and transfer policy between the two clubs is worth keeping an eye on.

After taking over the club two years ago from Andrea Radrizzani, the first objective the 49ers set has been achieved with promotion back to the Premier League at Elland Road.

As they look to build a side worthy of survival, they are setting out for another uphill battle in trying to upset Celtic’s dominance in Scotland, with a takeover of Rangers confirmed recently.

Leeds confirmed farewells for loan stars Joe Rothwell and Manor Solomon this morning, wishing the pair well as they return to their parent clubs across the Premier League at the start of July.

Rothwell’s needed a more permanent home for some time after struggling for opportunities at Bournemouth, and this could be just what he needs, especially if the 49ers show some serious ambition this summer.
